When I moved to St. George almost three years ago, I didn’t just find a new place to live—I found a new community, both in the town itself and on the range. The red rocks inspired the name, but it was the people and the passion for shooting sports here that sparked the idea for Red City Pro Shop.
I started shooting competitively about 2.5 years ago, and like many, I quickly got hooked. I'm now a Master in Carry Optics, and I’ve spent a lot of time training and competing with the Southern Utah Practical Shooters. That’s where I saw a gap that needed to be filled: no local shop offered gear specifically for USPSA and competitive shooters.
Most of us were ordering everything online. That works until the moment you forget something before a match or need a last-minute replacement. There was no local solution—and that didn’t sit right with me.
So I decided to build one.
Red City Pro Shop launches in July 2025 to serve the shooting sports community with what we actually need—belts, holsters, guns, chalk, and everything else a competitor might need when they’re training or traveling to Utah. We’ll be available online, in-store, and even delivering to the range for those last-minute emergencies.
More than that, I wanted to create a shop that truly values customer service. I’ve been on the other side of the counter—frustrated when gear doesn’t arrive on time or when it’s obvious a retailer doesn’t understand the sport. At Red City, we do things differently.
Our goal is simple:
Shoot with confidence. Shop with friendliness.
That’s not just a tagline—it’s how we operate. Whether you're a seasoned competitor or someone entering their first match, you'll get straightforward support, honest advice, and zero attitude.
The local club has been incredibly supportive, and I’m excited to give back however I can. In the future, I’d love to sponsor a shooting team or even become a title sponsor for a major match. This community deserves that kind of investment.
This isn’t just a shop—it’s something built from the ground up by a shooter who’s been in your shoes. I know what matters when it comes to gear, and I know how important it is to feel taken care of.
Thanks for being part of it.
